Resumen
This document shows the vulnerability assessment to marine wedge contamination in the aquifers found in San Andres Island, Colombia, under scenarios of Climate Change, based on the methods presented in the Third National Communication of Change Climate. For this, the methodology proposed by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change - IPCC (1992) was adapted in 5 steps: the definition of the study area, inventory of the characteristics of the physical-biotic environment, definition of scenarios, evaluation of changes resulting physical and natural, and evaluation of the vulnerability profile, using geographic infor-mation systems (ArcGIS and ModelMuse) that allowed the fulfillment of the objectives in a satisfactory manner, and the formulation of the vulnerability profile of the island.
