Resumen
The present document is a pre-feasibility study is developed for the incorporation of a facial recognition system as an additional security parameter for financial transactions carried out at ATMs in Colombia, in order to can mitigate the impacts of social engineering and technological fraud applied directly in this transactional channel, and the same time, reducing the perception of insecurity of financial consumers when transactions are made. For this, legal, technical, social, environmental and financial aspects are analyzed, segregated into four groups such as: the theoretical and conceptual support of the project development; followed by the study of market factors such as demand, supply, prices, strategies and marketing channels; subsequently, the technical or engineering study in order to design and size the production system together with the environmental impact analysis; and finally, the financial feasibility study and its conclusions.
