Resumen
This research was aimed at a review and analysis of the information published during the years 2000 to 2020 for fungi species belonging to the family Agaricaceae registered in Colombia with potential medicinal activity. The analysis of the information, allowed to identify 27 species previously reported by Vasco & Franco (2013) and about 13 more species for the Agariacaceae Family. Additionally, it was achieved establish that out of a total of 40 species identified for Colombia, 9 species have reported some type of activity evaluated at a medicinal level, among which we can highlight: antimicrobial, anticancer, antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, antinematode, antiviral, antidiabetic, anti-obesity, hepatoprotective, dermatologic, enzymatic and neurotropic. In turn, a scientometric study of the information obtained was carried out, establishing that of the 9 species distributed in Colombia, 88% of them have been evaluated for their antimicrobial activity, 55% of its anticancer activity and 33% of its antioxidant activity have been studied. In addition, for the trends reflected according to the country of publication, a greater number of publications were evidenced in China and India, these being precursors in the investigation of uses in edible and medicinal mushrooms. As for the year of publication, there was a greater number of publications in 2014. Finally, some chemaxonomic markers such as phenols, flavonoids, and sterols and some characteristic secondary metabolites of each species were identified such as Birnbaumin A and B, Epicorazines A, B and C and some mycosteroles, which could be of great relevance in the fields of medicine and biotechnology.
