Resumen
This degree project focuses on carrying out a pre-feasibility study for the creation of a micro-enterprise in Bogotá, dedicated to the manufacturing and marketing of polyester fabrics obtained from recycled plastic bottles. The problem of pollution caused by plastic today is addressed, highlighting its negative impact on the environment, nature and animals, in addition to how the high consumption of textile products affects the environment without generating any contribution. The initiative arises as a response to this problem, recognizing the importance of today's society contributing to the reduction of pollution and avoiding devastating long-term consequences. Currently, initiatives have been developed that demonstrate the feasibility of transforming PET into polyester fabric, and different companies are already making this idea possible. We take these aspects as a basis in this study to evaluate the possibility of establishing a company that converts plastic (PET) into polyester fabrics in the city of Bogotá. For this work, an exhaustive analysis of various aspects relevant to the viability of the project is carried out, including the market study, the technical study, a business model and a financial study. These analyzes allow us to establish solid conclusions that support the proposal to establish a microenterprise dedicated to this activity in the city of Bogotá.
