Abstract

This document describes the development, operation and results of software developed using a programming interface of the CAD tool SolidWorks 2014. The development of such software is based on the edited code generated by means of macros, Which provide the information of each process carried out internally in the CAD tool. The information to be supplied to the software is the diameter of the axis and the liquid to be transferred, although these data seem basic it is necessary that the person who interacts with the software has foundations and knowledge about the operation and composition of a mechanical seal, in this way The selection of the components that you will need and the adequate dimensioning of the components that do not contain all the necessary information will be more accurate since this depends on assembly and good operation of the seal.
