Diagnóstico y plan de intervención de la infraestructura tecnológica del cuarto de telecomunicaciones (TR) de la red de datos de las sedes Publicaciones, ILUD-Rebeca y Emisora de la Universidad Distrital Francisco José de Caldas

Abstract

A world globalized for information and communication technologies (ICTs) is the general panorama in which the following work moves, in this way the colombian state has many technological challenges to assume, one of them and in which is located the Universidad Distrital Francisco José de Caldas is the updating of entire network system to IPv6. Red de Datos UDNet is the agency of the university in charge of this process. To carry out this migration are necessary several process and subprojects, that nourish and suplan the general requirements, one of these subprojects is the gathering information of the university's network assets, the specific panorama of this work. It will be possible to observe then, in the current document, everything related to this gathering of information, a project that consist of two fundamental parts, Networks and Programming. On the Networks side, there is the follow-up of a methodology for carry out the gathering information and later an intervention plan to improve the current state of some university server rooms; on the programming hand there is the challenge of implementing a software tool that facilitates the gathering information.
