Abstract

The use of the Internet by adolescents has been a topic of interest in recent years, due to the constant use made of this tool. Internet has become an important aspect in the development of adolescents, however there is a constant concern for the risks that adolescents and children run while using the Internet and especially in social networks, despite this concern access to internet has also facilitated and promoted other knowledge and skills, given this dichotomy the present research aims to understand, from stories of boys and girls, their knowledge and experiences around the use of social networks, therefore they identify risks and benefits perceived by the participants. What allows us to know the perspective that adolescents have of social networks and the internet.
