Resumen
In this research on the impact of socio-economic services provided by Institutional Welfare in the Technological Faculty of the Francisco José de Caldas District University, a comprehensive literature review was conducted to identify models and variables used in previous studies on similar services in the university context. This review allowed proposing a specific model that addresses key variables such as academic performance, student satisfaction, persistence, and completion of studies. The main objective is to assess the impact of socio-economic development policy, and to achieve this, specific objectives are outlined, including literature review, proposal of a model prototype, and validation through a representative sample. The methodology is based on a systematic literature review, the formulation of the proposed model, and validation through its application to the student community of the Technological Faculty. The purpose is for this work to contribute to improving the quality and equity of higher education in the mentioned faculty by identifying the specific needs of the student community and providing valuable information for informed decision-making in educational policies and programs, as well as for the continuous development of academic research in this particular field.
