Abstract

This document describes through the development of four key objectives, the process for the successful completion of the design of a mechanical device. This process has mainly been developed taking into account the methodology used at the University of Buenos Aires in Argentina. The first objective is basically the process of diagnosis, in order to determine the most important elements to be taken into account within the studied issue and lead properly this development. The second objective is the approach of design alternatives, for this purpose, sketches of the ideas will be generated and define the best alternative from them to be held in the rest of the process. The third objective and one of the most important is for the detailed engineering study in order to technically support the entire design and development for further realization. The fourth objective is for the cost analysis and economic viability for the company.
