Abstract

The purpose of this document is to present the formative process that was developed through the academic internship within the Institute of Urban Development in the Environmental Management Office, in order to provide a proposal to optimize the internal processes of the Environmental Management Office in relation to obtaining permits for the occupation of the riverbed and the identification of the programs that should accommodate the IDU project according to Decree 555 of 2021. Under a mixed research methodology, information is obtained through participant observation by the student and the collection of information from secondary sources during the development of the internship. As a result, the identification and incorporation of programs of the Land Management Plan in the Technical Support Documents in the pre-feasibility stage for each assigned IDU project is obtained; and the analysis of the obtaining of permits for the occupation of the riverbed before the District Secretary of the Environment. According to the above, during the development of the internship it was possible to provide the entity with the construction of support information that in the medium and long term can strengthen the operation and management of the Environmental Management Office
