Resumen
The final report of the internship conducted in the future second headquarters of the Forest Botanical Garden of Cundinamarca, called Bambusa station, is presented. The main objective of this site is to continue with what was proposed for the Chilacas station in 2019, which was to develop an agroforestry, ornamental, and fruit production center focused on the multiplication of native species of high Andean ecosystems and the ecological restoration of the area. One hundred forty-six species belonging to 51 families were identified in the sampling on the trails planned for the Bambusa station. We identified 117 individuals at the species level and 26 at the genus level. The most representative families in terms of the number of species found were Fabaceae, Asteraceae, Piperaceae, Moraceae, Malvaceae, Myrtaceae, and Solanaceae. It was determined that 58% of the flora present in the Bambusa station is native, which corresponds to 65 species; of these, Calliandra tolimensis and Onoseris purpurea are endemic to the Cundinamarca region. Notably, of the 146 individuals collected and identified, 41 correspond to herbaceous plants, including many ferns. It is recommended to implement an enrichment plan with species native to the area to increase the diversity and richness of species in the area and promote the conservation of the local flora through living collections of plants.
