Resumen
The authors base the proposal on the approach to science, technology and society (STS) and from there, contextualize the subject matter and incorporate the aspects of social constructivism and the use of mobile applications, which is reflected in the school technological activity that they implement and validate in the European Union College IED with the 6th grade students. Specifically, they name characteristic elements of the categories they use, on the one hand, the importance of the STS approach, which recognizes the relevance of using elements of the students' context for the teaching and learning processes to be relevant, and on the other hand, social constructivism allows the construction of knowledge among peers and is strengthened by implementing tools present in the context, so they use in their favor Mobile Applications which potentiate their interactions and the development of the moments raised within the ATE.
