Resumen
The advanced deterioration of the road network in Bogotá represents a significant challenge for the mobility and safety of citizens, affecting not only drivers, but also motorcyclists, cyclists and pedestrians. In response to this problem, HuecApp was developed, a mobile application for Android that combines advanced technologies such as Firebase, Ionic, Capacitor and the Google Maps API. Its objective is to allow the generation of optimized routes and the visualization of potholes in the roads reported by users in real time. The Rapid Application Development (RAD) methodology guided the process, prioritizing an agile and adaptive development within a period of four months. The application includes key functionalities such as collaborative reporting of potholes and interactive visualization on maps, supported by a modular architecture that facilitates its scalability. The tests carried out with users highlighted its effectiveness in functionality and usability, although they pointed out areas for improvement in the accessibility and accuracy of the reports. HuecApp is positioned as an innovative solution that promotes citizen participation and improves the management of road infrastructure, contributing to safer and more efficient urban mobility.
