Resumen
The purpose of this work was to determine the perspectives of the communities surrounding the Chingaza Natural National Park, specifically in some of the paths defined within the buffer zone of the same, the ones chosen were Maza, Ferralarada, Barronegro and Granadillo, compared to the institution of this protected area, making an analysis of the information provided by the population to establish if there is conflict between these actors and build strategies for a rapprochement between community-protected area or alternatives to improve the relationship between them. In this way, the collection of information was carried out through semi-structured surveys that allowed an approach to the rural reality of the study area and be able to calculate the water poverty index of each of the aforementioned paths, to in the same way propose strategies that improve the quality of life of the communities, their economic activities and mainly with respect to the quality and scope of the water resource and also that a rapprochement between the Chingaza National Natural Park and the existing communities in the paths. The information that was collected took into account the access to aqueduct, sewerage, quality, the water resource, which has to do with the treatment or not of the water that is captured, uses of the water resource, conflicts over it, as well as conflicts , approaches to the Chingaza National Natural Park by the communities investigated, among other aspects evaluated. This document contains important information that will allow different institutions to take pertinent measures to improve the quality of life and access to a resource of such vital importance as water in the rural areas surrounding the protected areas.
