Resumen
This work presents a detailed report on each stage of the internship titled "Urban Art and Artistic Education" within the framework of the Open Museum of Bogotá (MAB). The central focus is on the management of actions that supported the organization in developing activities in the field of visual and plastic arts within the urban environment. It examines the influence of street art as a catalyst for change and transformation in the city’s sociocultural realities, as well as the re-signification of these spaces in collaboration with their inhabitants and the collective creation of local galleries.
To achieve these initiatives, production and pedagogy areas were established within the MAB project, which are essential for the professional development of students in the Bachelor’s Degree in Artistic Education at the Francisco José de Caldas District University.
The above is reflected in the systematization of a historical overview of graffiti in the city, along with an invitation to rethink the relationship between art, urban space, and community. This manifestation serves to remind us that creativity and expression can be powerful tools for change and the construction of a more inclusive and aware society.
