Resumen
This thesis, developed under the internship modality of the Social Communication and Journalism Curriculum Project at Universidad Distrital Francisco José de Caldas, is framed within the public policy of rural education. Through the project "Educación Rural Comunica a Todos", the aim is to strengthen school radio stations as a tool for civic participation in rural educational institutions in Bogotá, contributing to academic development and the consolidation of a sense of belonging within school communities. Bogotá, beyond being an urban center, has a significant rural population that faces challenges in accessing quality education. In this context, the use of school communication media helps bridge gaps and improve teaching and learning processes. In collaboration with the Secretariat of Education, the project adopts a communicative, pedagogical, and critical approach to address rural environmental issues. Thus, school radio stations become spaces for training and participation, where students and teachers enhance their communication skills and promote the recognition of topics of community interest.
