Resumen
Abstract This work makes visible the ways of subjectivation that young people build in the midst of the prevailing hegemony in Colombian society through the many possibilities of youth political participation as forms of participation that are reported as creative resistance that increase the potential of its protagonists. To achieve this visibility research with qualitative approach was developed by analyzing narratives (participant observation and unstructured interviews) about the forms of political participation of some Virginia Gutiérrez de Pineda I.E.D. school’s students of cycle 5. The analysis allowed to conclude that the political participation of young people corresponds to different practices traditionally institutionalized, mediated by affection and the solidarity in search of concrete welfare for their territory. It was also observed the disenchantment of the young population for participating in the ways of the traditional politics and the rejection against the ways to proceed from the institutional agencies of the state.
