Resumen
This research aims to identify the semiodiscursive representations about cultural and linguistic diversity exposed in the portal for early childhood Maguaré. Additionally, it is intended to analyze the relevance of these representations for the comprehensive development of early childhood children. The methodological approach that is retaken to carry out this research is the Critical Analysis of Multimodal Discourse (ACDM), specifically the methodological proposals of Kress and Van Leeuwen, O’Halloran and Pardo. The project provides findings about the meaning and intention of semi-discursive representations of cultural diversity on the Maguaré platform. Thus, the analysis allows to distinguish visual representations of a commercial and artistic nature that lead to the configuration of a concept of diversity oriented towards processes of stereotyping and reductionism. On the other hand, the relevance for the comprehensive development of early childhood boys and girls is subject to the accompaniment of an adult teacher or caregiver. The variety of formats and content raises and drives processes of meaning, creation and interaction, however, these are linked to the existence of a narrative and transmedia sequentiality, but also to the hypertext qualities of the platform. To reach these findings, it was necessary to return to authors such as Martín-Barbero, Acaso, Corona & Martín-Barbero, Catherine Walsh, Rost, Deceroasiempre, Sánchez Palacios, among others, who were fundamental for the support and development of this research.
