Resumen
Worldwide, civil works are loaded with a number of variables that increase construction costs, generate delays in works and on resources that directly affect construction companies, this problem is not far from the national reality where the lack of communication between the disciplines involved in the projects, generate between 8 and 10% of cost overruns for residential-type building projects. In this engineering environment, a lack of cohesion between the pre-construction stage and the construction stage is perceived, a problem based on the mishandling of data and information on projects by the areas immersed in them, several have been the authors that have denoted this problem and have presented applicable solutions that in one way or another improve these processes, among these solutions are the monitoring of external information management, mathematical models for the coordination of information management and the application of tools technologies that facilitate this exchange, until now these solutions have been focused on improving communication between specific areas or between the two stages, from pre-construction to construction and vice versa, in this case the analysis of the commercialization and distribution of an interdisciplinary model is presented presented in a technical manual, which links the application of the BIM methodology with the disc iplines of architecture, structure, hydraulic, sanitary and electrical, in an interdisciplinary model for the management of data and information in the pre-construction stage in residential buildings in Colombia.
