Resumen
The proposal that is presented seeks to observe how to implement a programming strategy in school-age children aimed at the promotion of problem-solving skills and logical thinking applied to everyday life, contextualized to the students' environment to help them understand the world that around them clearly and efficiently. The skills related to reasoning are mental processes that allow people to assimilate and understand information, acquire knowledge, know surrounding environments and grant the ability to overcome obstacles in real situations. For this reason, programming is considered a complement to ICT that can favor the development of logic. In the exercise, the qualitative research approach was applied, for which the descriptive method was used because it allows applying the "how?" Of the descriptive research. (Universia.cr. 2017), this in order to understand the study that allows to express derived reflections generated from the techniques used in data collection based on an analysis made in the process of pedagogical practice. The diagnostic test yielded low scores in comprehension and problem solving skills. Based on the diagnosis, a set of activities was designed on the development of logical, technological and problem solving skills. In the learning process algorithm exercises were developed, strengthening in the student the sequential logical reasoning in solving problems in their immediate context. Cormo is observed in the results of the exit test applied for the second time to show the progress of the students, it is concluded that the students appropriately appropriated the skills to be aware of the importance of these in their daily activities.
