Abstract

The following document contains general information about the operation and applications through the use of graphic schemes about the interpretation of functions of the telephone switching module belonging to the public services laboratory, in which tests can be carried out on telephony and switching techniques, on specific topics related to switching networks and direct connections, telephone network services, sound/noise ratio, research on voice signals, digital switching systems, time and space switching, processes and protocols, network administration, among others ; through schemes, graphs and theoretical foundations the topics mentioned above are explained. In addition, it has a practical guide which is expected to facilitate the carrying out of tests by the student, teacher, or interested person, which has the specifications for the start-up of the equipment, the general explanation of the interactive use of the software necessary for the interpretation and annotation of the results of the tests to be carried out. Finally, an example of an essay prepared by the authors and developed by the students of the academic space of telecommunications service is exposed.
