Uso de las TIC en el Fortalecimiento de la Motivación Frente al Aprendizaje de la Biología en los Estudiantes de Grado Décimo (Educación Media Vocacional) del Gimnasio La Arboleda

This research paper is based on the necessity of strengthening the motivation of the tenth grade students from the school Gimnasio la Arboleda to learning biology. To reach this goal we analyzed the incidence of developing a didactic sequence mediated by ICT recourses in the subject learning. To get this, we approached the research, using the mixed methodology, applying interview technique in two different moments to stablish an initial and a final reference, and the observation as a field work, using dayli notes in each session. Among these, 7 sessions were applied for the implementation of the teaching sequence. Upon reaching the stage of analyzing the results, it was noted as mediation between ICT and content of biology, the teacher's role and the contents usefulness strengthened the motivation for learning this subject generating a significant apprehension and autonomous students. Finally, it is evident that the given interaction among students with the subject of biology through ICT tools, generated an increase in respect and importance to the subject in their lives.
