En Búsqueda del Ciudadano Crítico: Análisis de la Posición y Función que la Literatura tiene para el Ministerio de Educación Nacional

Abstract

The objective of the following work is to inquire inside the documentation promulgated by the Ministry of National Education what object fulfills the literature as part of the conception of education as a national project. In order to carry out this research, documents issued from 1991 to 2017 will be taken into account, in order to trace whether literature as an art fulfills any particular function with views to give compliance to the training of an integral citizen as a basic right like is posits in the The Political Constitution of Colombia. This work also provides some conceptual references in relation to the terms literature, critical citizen and interdisciplinarity, in order to provide a conceptual basis that allows the reader to analyze the scope of the documents mentioned in relation to the ultimate goal of education: educate citizens capable of assuming the responsibility of know how to be in community.
