Abstract

The purpose of this degree work was to accompany and follow up on environmental management for consulting processes focused on Solid Waste management provided by Ingema Limitada. To comply with this objective, four phases were carried out in which data was collected to classify the solid waste generated in three (3) mining projects: Clay, Limestone and Iron. Each of the mining production processes was taken into account, considering the inputs and outputs, and the waste generated at each stage of the process. In the second phase, an instrument was developed to calculate demolition waste using the estimation method, because the company had few tools to proceed in the formulation of its management. In the third phase, three (3) proposals were submitted for environmental management plans for the management of solid domestic and industrial waste, sterile waste, and demolition waste from a mining title that was worked on during the internship. Finally, sectoral information was inserted through the RUA platform and a checklist was elaborated to follow up on the mining progress report (ICA) processes.
