Propuesta de diseño geométrico del paso a desnivel de la intersección Avenida Comuneros por Avenida Circunvalar en la Ciudad de Bogotá D.C.

Abstract

In Bogotá’s main roads, there are traffic-light intersections, which limit transportation times, generate high levels of accidents and do not satisfy the great existing demand for vehicles. This project is proposed to geometrically design a solution to the road infrastructure, which proposes to improve the intersection of the Circunvalar Avenue with Comuneros Avenue. This design is based on updated digital cartography of 2019, provided by the "Unidad Administrativa Especial de Catastro Distrital". It is presented as a geometric road solution an overpass on Comuneros Avenue, which allows the circulation of vehicles without the need to stop the flow of vehicles in the Circunvalar Avenue, likewise, the design of the connectors in the intersection is made to make the respective change of road. The horizontal and vertical geometrical design is presented, as well as diagrams of superelevations of each designed axis of the intersection. The project was developed following the guidelines of Manual de Diseño Geométrico de Carreteras (República de Colombia Ministerio de transporte Instituto Nacional de Vías, 2008), Guía para el Diseño de Vías Urbanas para Bogotá D.C. (2015) and supported by AutoCAD Civil 3D and ArcGis 10.5 software.
