Modelo de inteligencia de negocios para el área de tecnología de la empresa GSI Colombia

Abstract

This project proposed the development of a business intelligence model (BI) applied in the technology area of the company GSI Colombia, given that there was no model that allowed an organization and planning when defining, establishing and deciding about the necessary requirements of the projects contracted and associated to the area. Due to the above, it was important to carry out an information survey in relation to the projects to carry out a knowledge management on the different factors that have been involved in the decision making of the projects of the computer science area, afterwards an organization of the data collected in a detailed manner and finally the necessary guidelines for the development of the proposed model were established. As a result, a business intelligence model was designed where guidelines based on good practices were defined, which provide guidance on the organization and planning processes of the projects in the area. Guidelines were established that managed to analyze, understand and reflect on best practices in technology area projects.
