Resumen
Popular education, transforms. At the community school AFLICOC, located in the basin of the river Curbaradó, a community research pedagogical practice was developed, which allowed to strengthen the conservation and territorial roots of the students, using as a sensitizing and mobilizing tool the school garden: warrara neu tabu, in it they expressed feelings, knowledge and territorial practices, which at first revealed inconsistencies in the discourse of defense of the territory, which was recited without reflecting on our own and community actions. Throughout the process, using the action research methodology as a methodology, a collective strategy was developed that gave a productive direction to the garden, to the student organization and a central focus to the learning received in the natural world space, always reaching an action-reflection-action that reconfigured the discourse of the students, where they acquired greater argumentation, knowledge of aspects of the natural sciences applicable to the context and an appropriation of the garden, where forces were added to "raise" it, even linking the support of community leaders who nurtured the experiences of cultivation and attendance to the garden in spaces outside the school week. The process is registered with the systematization of experiences, where the activities and their respective advances are narrated, which were finally analyzed under four thematic axes that are biodiversity and ecology, territorial roots and identity, conservation and environmental education, which bring together the realities in the context, the territorial exercise and the teaching practice.
