El cachivachero ambiental

Abstract

El Cachivachero Ambiental is a project of exploration, interaction, creation and resignification, which takes place in biodiverse spaces in the process of rehabilitation. The project encourages the exploration of alternative tools and materials that contribute in the way of coexisting with nature and being able to use them in such a way that they can be resignified, while generating affective, emotional, ethical, aesthetic and environmental sensitivity, in this direct contact, using as a medium the materials that can be found there, (some of these materials can also be recycled and/or purchased, taking into account ecological coherence). In addition to this, the project seeks to transcend the meaning of places, by coming into direct contact with them, and intervening in them. The cachivachera suitcase is a compendium of tools and artistic elements transported to biodiverse spaces, to be used by the participants (who can be of any age); and with which they can allow themselves to explore, collect, classify, intervene and connect with the various elements that are part of the environment, for example: branches, leaves, fruits, flowers, rocks, earth, etc... By addressing these activities, some basic concepts of design are taught, to create compositions with the found elements, ways to collect, classify and capture in an artistic way, with the materials that nature provides us, without the need to buy so many materials from the grocery store. art. Therefore, this activity is considered within a context that can be rural or non-rural, but as a requirement this has to be a place where nature abounds (urban forest or other ecosystem within or around the city) where it is found great biodiversity.
