Resumen
The Beijing declaration mentions that the knowledge of traditional medicine must be respected, preserved, promoted and transmitted, but there is evidence of a decrease in this in the new generations of developing countries, such as Colombia, a country where it occurs a large number of botanical species with medicinal properties. Likewise, an erroneous idea about the safety of these medicinal plants used without restrictions near the market squares in the city of Bogotá is mentioned, for which it seeks to develop the appropriation of accurate knowledge within the Botanical Garden of Bogotá in the interpretation space through a workshop, which is based on information from a questionnaire that has been made to users of market places near the area. The new knowledge acquired that the visitors have mentioned is taken into account to conclude that the necessary information can be given for the correct implementation of the ethnobotany that our country presents.
