Apoyo administrativo en el centro de alto rendimiento del Ministerio del Deporte

Abstract

As my cradle of learning is the Sports Administration curricular project of the glorious Francisco José de Caldas District University, I have had the opportunity to connect with the largest entity in the country in the Sports Administrative field, the Ministry of Sports, a government entity in the which any professional interested in Sports would like to join and establish themselves. On this occasion I was able to temporarily join one of the departments of the Ministry of Sports such as the Internal Working Group (GIT) of the High Performance Center (CAR). The objective of this internship was to support in all the processes corresponding to the CAR “the administrative Unit of the Ministry of Sports, whose general objective is the provision of Sports services, through scenarios, sports performance support professionals, health professionals in the branches applied to sport and Accommodation service for Athletes” (Mindeporte 2010). As an intern of the Sports Administration curricular project, I contributed to the GIT of the CAR in some of its functions such as: developing strategic or organizational diagnoses in accordance with the needs of the sports structure of the High Performance Center (CAR) that affect the achievement of improvement of these, seek strategies that allow the maintenance and conservation of sports venues in accordance with each sporting discipline arranged within the CAR sports venues, propose reforms to methods, systems and procedures for the use and care of the venues and CAR sports fields; among others. These supports and tasks will be carried out in search of the overall improvement and growth of the GIT as well as my own growth and acquisition of experience in the professional field.
