Resumen
A preliminary approach was made of the axes of operation a telemedicine laboratory, all the criteria conclude the certification of technical competence of the laboratory such as management and technical requirements were extended. These lead to the implementation of quality management system, the establishment of processes and document structure (Quality Manual, Process and Work Instructions) Telemedicine Laboratory of the University. Having done the research process were determined practices practices of national origin (Colombian legislation) and international (ISO) to be adopted as a guide to compliance with the quality standards that they set. The rules adopted are considered suitable for achieving the objective of establishing and organizing the necessary support to ensure the certification of the Laboratory and Telemedicine Center of the University. It was determined that the parameters established for certification in the technical competence of the laboratory Telemedicine of the University are given in ISO / ISO / IEC 17025 (latest version in 2005). While for enabling the Centre adjacent to the laboratory Telemedicine, the parameters for documentation rules are the requirements set by Resolution 1448 and the rules converge to comply with this very well its subsequent amendments. All this must be considered when the establishment of the laboratory for the manager knows to be done to continue to regulation.
