Abstract

This study analyzes the integration of University Social Responsibility (USR) and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) at Universidad Distrital Francisco José de Caldas, Sede Ciudadela Universitaria Bosa Porvenir. Using a methodology based on a literature review, surveys, and a Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats (SWOT) analysis, it identifies progress, challenges, and opportunities to strengthen sustainability in higher education. The study highlights the role of universities in shaping responsible citizens, generating knowledge, and implementing sustainable policies. The findings propose strategies to optimize the integration of the SDGs through measurement systems, academic training, and concrete actions in teaching, research, and outreach, reinforcing the university’s social and environmental impact in the region.
