Resumen
The objective of this project is to carry out a multi-temporal analysis of the coverage present in the Tinigua National Natural Park in a time window of 38 years (1985-2020) through the processing of satellite images and the MAP BIOMAS methodology, (i ) selecting a study area, (ii) investigating in depth the variables considered useful and (iii) detecting variation in coverage. With respect to vegetation cover, a decrease was found, especially from 2002 onwards, which increased from 2016 onwards, during the period of 38 years, an area of 75,014 ha was lost. For its part, anthropic coverage has shown exponential growth since 1992, with an accelerated increase since 2016, reaching an increase of 74,610 hectares in the area covered by human activities.
