Resumen
To determine Priority Conservation Areas within the Norandina and Pericaribeña provinces, belonged to the classification of the National Natural Parks System of Colombia, it was implemented a Multi-Criteria Analysis (MCA) based on three (3) criteria of priority, according to the substantive elements exposed on the CONPES 3680 of 2010 and its correspondence with the manual "What and Where to Preserve”, Corzo and Andrade, 2010. The criteria used to get the areas prioritized were: The Ecosystem Representation, The Ecosystem Services Associated with the Water Resource and the Vulnerability to Climate Change; these were assessed through six (6) parameters in order to perform a model of prioritization areas which allowed to catalog the seventy (70) districts, distributed in the two (2) provinces (twelve in the Pericaribeña province and fifty eight in the Norandina) and identify with high and very high priority six (6) districts, all of them included in the Pericaribeña Province, revealing the critical conservation gaps in this region of the country.
