Resumen
Waste collectors are expose to a situation of vulnerability. The lack of technical mechanisms to know their occupational risks besides of rules regulating their activity are influential factors of their precarious working conditions. For this reason, this document aimed to identify hazards, assess and assess occupational risks present in the environmental recoverers of the town of Kennedy, Bogota D.C, through an exploratory and descriptive cross-sectional study, which used quantitative instruments (sociodemographic and health risk survey) and qualitative (working day observation process) in a target population of 50 recoverers. As a result, it was observed that the danger of greatest participation is associated with biomechanical risks with 40%, and the risk assessment and assessment also identified that the collection process is the highest risk (Not acceptable I).
