Dinámica de las coberturas de la tierra y comportamiento de caudales en la cuenca del río Guayabero, departamento del Meta

Abstract

From the interpretation and classification of land use for the Guayabero river basin in 2002 and 2018, the multitemporal analysis is done for analyzing the changes in coverage in the last 16 years for the study area. To determine the influence of the dynamics of change of coverage, a hydrological model was generated that allowed to compare the land use changes with the behaviors in the flows within the basin. The multitemporal analysis showed that in the last 16 years there have been dynamics of change in land use where forest cover is replaced by agricultural territories for livestock activities mainly; in the same way, hydrological modeling showed that those sub-basins with significant changes in their coverings show greater fluctuations in their hydrological behavior with a greater susceptibility to present alterations in periods of climatic variability, while the sub-basins that do not present alterations in their coverage maintain a greater regulation in the flow levels for the period analyzed.
