Resumen
The degree work “Vientos de Joropo: Origen y Transformación de las Sonoridades del Llano y Suite para Flauta sola” includes, from a research perspective, an approach to the cultural context of the joropo llanero, its possible origins, transformations and stylistic differences of the musical practices that integrate it, analyzing the relationship and consequences of its interaction with other sociocultural environments. It contains an analysis proposal for the composition and interpretation that aims to incorporate musical elements interpretive techniques sonorities and experiential elements of the joropo, with the flute's resources and its development in Western academic music, achieving the creation of a work that, despite being for an instrument outside the traditional instrumental format, it can evoke the characteristics that define llanera music. In addition, the concept of improvisation is explored and if it is possible to apply it to the practices of instruments such as the bandola or the llanera harp.
