Resumen
The sludge known as biosolids are generated by the Wastewater Treatment Plants and can come to be considered as a waste, in such a way that when disposed of incorrectly and / or in an inappropriate place, they can cause effects on human health and the environment as they contain a large number of pathogenic microorganisms. In the case of the biosolids produced by the Salitre WWTP, they are used for the amendment of soils in two properties owned by the Empresa de Acueducto y Alcantarillado de Bogotá -EAAB, however, these biosolids have a greater potential than in the case of this project, is agricultural use. On the other hand, we find that in agricultural matters, the Regional Autonomous Corporation CAR can be benefited, which manages a Colombian-German agreement project called Checua within which they carry out soil and water conservation activities, in the municipality of La Calera Cundinamarca. This is how this project, based on market analysis, planning, project engineering, and administrative study, concludes with an economic-financial study to determine the viability of taking advantage of the biosolids originating in the Salitre WWTP, treating and stabilizing them according to compliance. normative required to assume them as soil conditioner and agricultural use and later assign them to the CAR in the Checua Project, thus achieving a potential use of the biosolid, incorporating it in a project that benefits the farmer, not to mention its importance in the circular economy.
