Resumen
The problem of psychoactive substances requires a search for solutions from various fields, including natural science classrooms as from science class can develop skills for students to act critically and reflectively to the various situations everyday life, as it is drug use. This paper presents a methodological approach that revolves around learning the nervous system and seeks to develop the assertive decision-making with respect to cannabis sativa is presented. This proposal was developed under the focus of teaching for understanding (EpC) at the Colegio San Bernardino, with 901 undergraduates and 902, in total 40 students, conducted in three loops of action research, to during which material models of the human body and the effects of the consumption of C. sativa, which functioned as mobilizers of change of mental model were built. At the end of the process it was found that students change their mental models in relation to the nervous system but beyond was evident that students understood the importance of knowing and caring for your body.
