El Ekeko Son y Sabor - Músicas De Latinoamérica

Abstract

This is a degree project in interpretation - creation that presents, through a selected, studied and subsequently recorded repertoire, part of the great cultural diversity around traditional and popular Latin American music, its richness and its impact on our peoples. over the years and how initiatives like this can be built from the classroom to preserve all those beautiful songs from past generations and use them as fundamental and very valuable tools in current pedagogical-musical practice. On the other hand, it presents us with the ekeko, its origin, the mission and the legacy that lasts from the times of the Aymara culture to the present day and that fervently seeks the union of all Latin peoples, a legacy to which I return to continue and transmit its message of unity through music.
