Resumen
The massification in the use of distributed generation systems has brought with it the growing need to store surplus energy for later consumption, therefore, it becomes necessary to size the storage systems according to the daily needs of the user in order to implement a robust, flexible and as economical as possible system. In order to provide a solution according to the existing needs, the software for battery sizing is a powerful tool for applications within the generation from renewable energy sources such as photovoltaic, wind or mixed. With the help of the load curve obtained by the user or entered manually, it calculates the number of batteries required, allowing the user to adjust particular parameters for his application, such as the depth of discharge of the system and/or the oversizing factor of the system. It also provides several options from 12 volts to 72 volts between the terminals of the system.
