Resumen
The Instituto Geográfico Agustín Codazzi (IGAC), is a Colombian state entity, which is the highest authority on regulations and production of cartographic, cadastral, geodetic and agricultural information of the entire national territory. In addition, the IGAC is the core entity of the national territory administration system in charge of providing citizens with several services and procedures of quality, control and timeliness. That is why the cadastral updating process carried out by the IGAC in the various municipalities of the national territory with a multipurpose approach is responsible for building an information system based on the registration of updated land data, supported by formal and informal properties, where the information derived from these properties may be the fundamental basis that allows the administration, management and governance of land in the entire country, where, From the implementation of the public policy of the multipurpose cadastre it is sought that the administration of properties and lands starts from the knowledge and the current real situation of the properties, lands and their respective owners, therefore, this document will show the development of indispensable procedures for the Agustin Codazzi Geographic Institute with the objective of providing support for the cadastral update with multipurpose approaches in the different municipalities focused, for the implementation of the public policy of multipurpose cadastre.
