Investigación de la metodología de estratificación urbana para grandes ciudades o de tipología 1 a las ciudades de Bogotá y Medellín

Abstract

The following research work shows the development, content and methodology of distribution of Type I urban stratification developed by the National Planning Department DNP, and adopted by the National Department of Statistics DANE. Stratification methodology deals with Type I define the regulatory framework by which their development and structural variables, in this case, specifically for major cities of Colombia, Bogotá and Medellin are governed; It shows the characteristics of the policy of solidarity and distribution, displaying a qualitative and quantitative analysis of the management of subsidies for the lower strata, to which it is intended to bring quality public services. This research aims to develop proposals and recommendations for updating the model of socioeconomic stratification, seeks to be a tool for researchers and experts in the field to adopt it to generate and develop ideas for improving the current methodology.
