Caracterización Mediante el Análisis Musical y Poético de Cinco Pasillo Ecuatorianos, Influencia de la Poesia Modernista Ecuatoriana en su Origen

Abstract

This research is the result of the recognition of one of the musical genres (el pasillo ) more tradition in Ecuador, which has been well received not only in Ecuador, place of origin, also has in regions like the department Nariño (Colombia), which has allowed us to approach this and other genres that nation. To achieve the objectives proposed in this paper: the characterization of this kind, and recognition of modernist poetry in its origin and development; as the first phase bibliographic material consulted, in the second phase the interview was used as a methodological tool to master called Leonardo Cardenas, composer, arranger and connoisseur of Ecuadorian music, the third and final phase consisted of transcripts and analysis songs. Moreover the musical analysis itself, implicitly it is the analysis of the texts of these corridors, which gave the results in a series of conclusions where the musical and textual analysis plus some features of this genre are reflected.
