Resumen
The objective of the degree project is to design the environmental management system (EMS) for the deposit Vitrificados Colombia and Tequendama S.A.S.-It is carried out with the guidelines of ISO 14001 of 2015, which refer to corporate environmental risk management to bring the organization to a higher level of commitment and responsibility to the environment, through the development of four phases comprising the different design and planning procedures of the system.
The first phase consists of the initial environmental review where the different factors are identified: weaknesses, opportunities, strengths and threats of the organization in the compliance, development and evolution of the EMS, as well as the actors involved in the process. In the second phase, matrices are drawn up to identify the different elements mentioned above and their impact on the environment, in order to obtain clear information on the current situation of the company. In the third phase, environmental policy is proposed, where it expresses its commitment to good environmental performance. In the last phase, the different plans and programs for solid waste management, environmental education program, water and energy program are formulated according to the information obtained and compliance with the environmental guidelines, within which the organization is located. By directing the missionary processes to a high environmental commitment, which will place the organization at a new competitive level compared to the others due to its quality and environmental commitment.
