Resumen
Urban agriculture refers to a series of forms of agricultural production that are carried out in the urban area, this does not take into account its size, purpose, or motivation; FAO defined it as a small area oriented to the interior of the city and the resources for the production of crops for consumption or sale in the neighborhood markets. It is considered an option to meet the basic needs of the population that has backward migration and is in poverty due to the large part of a history of violence that has affected the country, but the management of this problem is often Negligent by the entities of the National and District Government. This contribution intends to propose a strategy of sustainable urban agriculture in Bogotá, as an alternative for food sovereignty in the context: case study, lulo production system in the urban context. It is based on holistic research, a level of perceptual knowledge, which involves exploring and describing the main components of sustainable urban agriculture, taking into account the technique of case study, using the productive system of the lulo on an urban scale. As a result of the exploratory phase and description of the productive system of the lulo in the Urban context, three categories are presented that must be fully developed in other investigations, namely: 1) ATA-agricultural technical assistance is required to guarantee technical production an urban scale; 2) Formulate a public policy for a UAU - Urban Agricultural Unit, which allows establishing the principles of sustainability; 3) Set up a citizen participation facility that makes an inclusion of vulnerable population from the post-agreement.
