Resumen
In the environment of remote sensing, is necessary to count with satellite images with high spectral and spatial resolution frequently, to be useful in different geographic studies. Images fusion is a technique that allows integrate the spectral quality and the detail geometric in a new image product of this fusion. However previous studies have shown that conventional methods of fusion as: Brovey Transform, RGB to HIS, Principal component Analysis, multiplicative method among others, degrades in an important quantity the spectral information after the fusion. Hence in this paper we implement the Wavel Transform Discrete, how an alternative method for images fusion to the case study department of Cundinamarca, Colombia in specific the sub-scene of Girardot. The methodology raised allowed take advantage of the spectral resolution of Sentinel 2A and Rapideye space resolution respectively, the images fusion was made using the conventional methods and, on the other hand, the Wavelet Transform. Finally, the fused images were evaluated by the calculus of eight index of quality, these index statisticians allowed to identify which method did degraded the information spectral in a few quantity. The result of this study allowed to establish that Wavelet Transform is better than conventional methods of fusion, basically, with reference to the conservation of the spectral information after the images fusion.
