Implementación de un vivero para fomentar la producción de proyectos forestales en un centro educativo. Caso : Colegio Esclavas del Sagrado Corazón de Jesús

Abstract

A nursery has been built in the Esclavas del Sagrado Corazon de Jesús school, but it has not been used, so the objective of this work is to implement a forest nursery for the management and production of native forest species, as well as the environmental education that is it will teach students in the future thanks to the programs promoted by the forest nursery. The implementation of the forest nursery in the slaves of the sacred heart school will begin with phase one where the necessary accessories will be built so that this nursery can handle forest species such as, for example, the beds that will be adapted according to the space of the installation from scratch and the areas for materials and seeds will be made in cement, as well as the water connection for irrigation. Following the adaptation, compost materials and black soil will be purchased for later storage in the nursery. In phase two, the nursery will be presented to the 8th grade of the educational center to design an experiment, where seeds of a native species near the school must be collected and sown in different substrates to observe in which there is better growth in the established time.
