Resumen
In recent years the scientific community has shown a permanent interest in the development of computer-assisted detection systems. In addition, the incidence of mortality due to breast cancer generates concern among scientists of different specialties, besides being considered a public health problem worldwide. The above reasons have led to the development of systems for the detection of lesions in mammograms by scientists from different parts of the world. This document presents a literary review that motivates the beginning of the design of a system for the detection of lesions in the breast from digital mammograms. Subsequent sections are presented as a way to initiate the study, research, development and design of injury detection systems in digital mammography. The development of the methodology described in this document allowed to evaluate a set of systems for the detection of lesions in digital mammograms. The results show average accuracy rates of up to 96%
