Propuesta Metodológica para el Diseño de un Catálogo de Objetos para el Manejo Estandarizado de la Información Geográfica Relativa a Procesos Regionales de Ordenamiento Territorial

Abstract

In the present work, it is explained from the normative framework to the methodology proposed for the design of the catalog of geographic objects for the management of the geographic information related to the processes of territorial organization at regional scale, according to the methodology implemented in the Internal Working Group for the advising and accompaniment to the territorial entities in the updating and formulation of the territorial planning plans. The catalog of objects is framed in a process that advances the IGAC for the standardized handling of the geographic information that manipulates, for this reason the catalog is adjusted to the Colombian technical standards on the geographic information, being this a simplified representation of the reality, Organizing in a hierarchical structure the levels of information and with a codification useful for their understanding of both producers and users.
